These events are open to neighbors, old friends, and anyone curious about our community! They are wonderful ways to meet or hang out with people currently living at Sirius and get to know what we’re working on. A piece of Sirius history is weekly potluck dinners with our HearthStone Village – friends, neighbors, and community members- curious about weaving work of community building, ecological sustainability, and harmonious living with all beings. We are not currently hosting these weekly potlucks but hope to do so again in the future.
Earlier in the day we have other happenings that folks are welcome to attend:
- See us in action during our weekly community service, known as Joyful Productivity, which happens every Saturday morning from 9-12:30, followed by a Planetary Healing meditation centered on sending prayer and positive affirmations to those in need. If you are able to contribute to community service in the morning, lunch is on us. Otherwise, we ask you to contribute $10 to cover food costs.
- After lunch, the sauna will be hot and ready for anyone who would like to get some deep relaxation. It will be available until the end of the day. It’s $10 for the sauna, and $2 to use one of our towels, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Feel free to join for whichever portion of the day suits you.
