SUMMARY:Community Experience Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fully immersive experience that is centered around living in community. \nClick Here for Tickets! \nIf you carry a curiosity about what it would be like to visit one of the longest running eco villages in the whole country\, if you value education\, spirituality\, sustainability\, community\, or if you feel excited about meeting new people and getting a glimpse into what life in community could feel like…..then this is for you. \nGuests are welcome to arrive at 4:00 pm on Friday\, May 1st. One of our guest services team members will show you to your room where you are welcome to unpack and relax\, while the kitchen team is preparing dinner for everyone in our outdoor\, pizza cob oven. \nThere will be lawn games and musical instruments nearby that will be available to enjoy while dinner is being prepared \nAfter dinner we will gather together for a welcome ceremony. During which we will give a brief history of Sirius Community and share what to expect for the rest of our time together\, followed by getting cozy around a bon fire (yes stories and songs are encouraged)

On Saturday morning there will be light breakfast offerings provided at around 8 AM\, followed by what we call\, “Joyful Productivity” that begins at 9:00 AM. Community members\, guests and visitors all circle up for a morning check-in. \nThis is our opportunity to spend time working together on the land with different projects. Whether that’s harvesting vegetables\, enjoying the quiet\, warmth of the green house or joining grounds team to gather\, stack and move fire wood in the forest\, there is always something for everyone. \n  \nSATURDAY \n10:00 AM: Guests are welcome to join a community tour to see all that there is to see. \n12:30 PM: A guided global healing meditation is held in the octagon \n1:00 PM: The community meets in the kitchen to enjoy a 100 % organic vegetarian lunch (The meal is mostly vegan and always includes gluten-free options) \nFeel free to embark on your own adventure in our 90 acre forest\, relax in our hammocks\, or participate in a community communication practice\, “Forum.”
 (This gives individuals a chance to take turns authentically expressing themselves while others bare witness and offer insightful reflections) \n3:00pm: Sauna is ready for use and will be available for the rest of the day\, into the night.\n(Don’t forget your towel and water bottle) \n6:30 PM: 100 % organic\, vegetarian dinner will be served. \n8:00 PM: Cacao ceremony \n8:30 PM: The Sirius Ecstatic dance begins\, featuring music from one of our in-house DJ’s. \n  \nSUNDAY \n8:00 AM: Yoga and breath-work workshop \n10:00 AM: Waffle brunch is served \n12:00 PM: Closing ceremony held at the sacred stone circle (This is the time for everyone to share their experiences\, reflections and to ask any questions) \nClick Here for Tickets!

Come to Sirius Community on January 31st for an ecstatic dance.\nOur evening together will begin at 6:30pm with a potluck in the community center.\nOnce our bellies are full and the potluck is complete\, we will be guided by Eric\, a resident of Sirius\, on a circle singing journey. DESCRIPTION:Led by Sofia-Jeanne Caring and Patrick Kennyō Dunn \nThis retreat is an invitation into two complementary forms of spiritual inquiry: silent meditation and interactive relational practice. Each of these practices reveals different dimensions of awareness\, presence\, and truth. In stillness\, we encounter ourselves beyond words; in dialogue\, we discover ourselves in the mirror of another. Held together\, these practices form a powerful combination that helps loosen our stuck patterns and open the heart of compassion. \nTrue transformation requires the courage to meet ourselves exactly as we are— in both comfort and challenge. Both practices (meditation + circling) invite us to bravely step beyond familiar patterns\, to sit with discomfort rather than turn away\, and to remain present even when vulnerability arises. When we willingly walk to our own edges\, our capacity for presence expands in ways we couldn’t have imagined. \nOur days will weave between seated meditation and relational meditation\, a practice of authentic\, present-moment interaction and dialogue. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Sirius Community for a sound healing lead by Nicole Ward (https://www.prismlighthealing.com) & Leo Ryan. \n  \n\nWhy sound?\n\n\nHave you ever witnessed live music and felt the vibrations of a bass or drum that was so low that it vibrated your body? Have you ever heard the piercing clarity of a bell that instantly brought your awareness into the moment? Have you ever been soothed into a trance through the gentle ambience of a repetitive sound? \nSometimes these sounds can be jarring and annoying\, but they can also be therapeutic when used intentionally for the purpose of healing. For thousands of years\, every human culture has evolved the use of sound to facilitate physical\, emotional\, mental\, and spiritual release and cohesion. Journeying with sound is perhaps our oldest and ever-relevant method of medicine. \nIntroducing specific fields of resonance through healing sounds to the body creates an immediate affect. Through the process of entrainment\, the body is encouraged to energetically reorganize into a more coherent pattern\, which shows up in the physical as the relief of blockages and activation of sluggish cells. The vibrational conversation that occurs between the body and the instruments is a deep one that spans beyond the conscious mind. It is through this conversation that the body’s natural systems are inspired to find new and refreshed pathways of health\, vitality\, creativity\, and conscious choice. \n​ \nMany people report experiences of spontaneous insight\, increased energy\, clarity of mind\, sustainable focus\, calm wellbeing\, and attunement to extrasensory perception when working with sound in this way.

This workshop is about learning how to be in touch with your feelings without getting stuck in emotional reactivity. There is a difference! \nWe will experientially go over the Four Feelings Cycle\, how to get out of stuck emotional patterns\, how to extract wisdom from your feelings\, and how to heal emotional wounds. \nMore specifically\, we’ll cover the distinctions between: \n\nFeelings (origin is in the present) vs Emotions (origin is in a past\, unhealed wound\nConscious and unconscious uses of feeling\nWhat an Emotional Healing Process is\, how to trace emotional reactivity to the wound it is rooted in\, and how to make new decisions about that wound\n\nWe will practice: \n\nFeeling our feelings\nDistinguishing between our feelings and emotional reactivity\nHolding vacuum spaces for others so they can express higher levels of feeling\nHow to be with and let emotional energy move in our bodies\nTreating our feelings not as second-class citizens to our minds\, but as valuable sources of information and energy for our lives\n\n“Give someone a healing process and they’ll be okay for a day.
