It has the same purposes and traditional roots as silent meditation: developing mindfulness\, compassion and liberating insight while investigating present moment experience. \nThe foundation of Insight Dialogue is a whole-life vision of the spiritual path: every moment of our lives is part of our path\, so our meditation should include both interpersonal and individual practices. DESCRIPTION:This month\, we are having a salsa party! There will be a potluck from 6:30 pm-8 pm. We will begin the salsa rueda class at 8 pm. Salsa rueda is a Cuban-style salsa dance also known as “casino”. Celadry will be teaching until 9pm\, when the open dance will begin\, which will be Latin music all night. The sauna will be open and hot from 5pm-midnight. See you then!

DESCRIPTION:The Gathering at Sirius Community \n\nUpcoming event at an ecovillage near you! Come to Sirius Community on January 31st for an ecstatic dance.\nOur evening together will begin at 6:30pm with a potluck in the community center.\nOnce our bellies are full and the potluck is complete\, we will be guided by Eric\, a resident of Sirius\, on a circle singing journey. We will learn some beloved circle songs and how circling while singing works. You can incorporate this practice within songs you love.\nAfter spending time singing\, we will open up the dance floor with music curated by another Sirius resident\, DJ Dom.\nThroughout the night\, folks are welcome to use the wood-fired sauna next to the community center.\nAccommodations are available if you choose to stay the night here in the forest of Shutesbury. The next morning\, after the full moon\, we can begin February together with a yoga flow\, followed by a waffle brunch.\nYou won’t want to miss the first Gathering of the year\, and we are so excited to see you!

DESCRIPTION:The Gathering at Sirius – This April 4th!\nJoin us for some\, or all activities below!\nThis month’s gathering will be weekend filled with experiences centering community.\n☀️Saturday Morning:\n9:00am: As a community\, our Saturday morning’s begin together for what we call Joyful Productivity. This is our opportunity to spend time working together on the land with different projects. This usually includes grounds/maintenance work like moving firewood\, gardening\, or some specialized tasks like tree work.\n12:30pm Global healing meditation.\n1:00pm: Vegetarian lunch begins.\nThis portion of the weekend is scheduled weekly\, and guest are always welcome to join and get to know the community.\n✨Saturday Afternoon:\n4:00pm: Sauna is hot! (and onwards)\n4:30pm: RESCUE Crafting! Come and stitch a spirit owl softie! They are decorated with simple embroidery and appliqué\, then sewn together and stuffed. If you would like to bring something to make your spirit owl special\, please do! Children are welcome\, younger ones with an adult. The felt is from The Stash House in Turner’s Falls\, where all the fabric has been rescued.\n🌙Saturday Evening:\n6:30pm: Vegetarian Potluck\n8:00pm: Guided mindful movement\n8:30pm: Ecstatic Dance with music from a special guest- DJ TintedDreams

SUMMARY:Community Experience Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fully immersive experience that is centered around living in community. \nClick Here for Tickets! \nIf you carry a curiosity about what it would be like to visit one of the longest running eco villages in the whole country\, if you value education\, spirituality\, sustainability\, community\, or if you feel excited about meeting new people and getting a glimpse into what life in community could feel like…..then this is for you. \nGuests are welcome to arrive at 4:00 pm on Friday\, May 1st. One of our guest services team members will show you to your room where you are welcome to unpack and relax\, while the kitchen team is preparing dinner for everyone in our outdoor\, pizza cob oven. \nThere will be lawn games and musical instruments nearby that will be available to enjoy while dinner is being prepared \nAfter dinner we will gather together for a welcome ceremony. During which we will give a brief history of Sirius Community and share what to expect for the rest of our time together\, followed by getting cozy around a bon fire (yes stories and songs are encouraged)

On Saturday morning there will be light breakfast offerings provided at around 8 AM\, followed by what we call\, “Joyful Productivity” that begins at 9:00 AM. Community members\, guests and visitors all circle up for a morning check-in. \nThis is our opportunity to spend time working together on the land with different projects. Whether that’s harvesting vegetables\, enjoying the quiet\, warmth of the green house or joining grounds team to gather\, stack and move fire wood in the forest\, there is always something for everyone. \n  \nSATURDAY \n10:00 AM: Guests are welcome to join a community tour to see all that there is to see. \n12:30 PM: A guided global healing meditation is held in the octagon \n1:00 PM: The community meets in the kitchen to enjoy a 100 % organic vegetarian lunch (The meal is mostly vegan and always includes gluten-free options) \nFeel free to embark on your own adventure in our 90 acre forest\, relax in our hammocks\, or participate in a community communication practice\, “Forum.”
 (This gives individuals a chance to take turns authentically expressing themselves while others bare witness and offer insightful reflections) \n3:00pm: Sauna is ready for use and will be available for the rest of the day\, into the night.\n(Don’t forget your towel and water bottle) \n6:30 PM: 100 % organic\, vegetarian dinner will be served. \n8:00 PM: Cacao ceremony \n8:30 PM: The Sirius Ecstatic dance begins\, featuring music from one of our in-house DJ’s. \n  \nSUNDAY \n8:00 AM: Yoga and breath-work workshop \n10:00 AM: Waffle brunch is served \n12:00 PM: Closing ceremony held at the sacred stone circle (This is the time for everyone to share their experiences\, reflections and to ask any questions) \nClick Here for Tickets!

Gaining in popularity around the world\, players and listeners alike are enchanted by its unique resonance. The handpan can be heard in yoga classes\, for meditation\, as well as in concert or simply for pure enjoyment by players.
